課程概述

This course is the lab course of the Geo3017.

During this course, we will practice the fundamental skills of the GIS software, mainly ESRI ArcGIS. For students who are not familiar with the GIS program, this lab course will provide them a chance to practice the program.

Students who participate in the course will be graded on the basis of the following two items:
(1) Performance in the course
(2) Homeworks (differ to the main course)
 

課程目標
 This lab course will be focusing on
1. Survey and capture geomorphic and geological features using different types of devices.
2. Operate the ArcGIS program to generate maps that can be used in the geological investigation.
